I would be very interested. I have the parts from the old CNC and was planning to shrink it down to about that size. I think we should be able to find the wall space to keep it.

Hey all, just renewed my membership and stopped by the space - nice to see things moving along!

I was speaking with Nicholas a bit and I understand the CNC router has taken a hiatus.

I've got a decent 750*750mm openbuilds workbee with fairly powerful stepper and grbl based control that I built for apartment living in Vancouver that is currently collecting dust as I have access to a larger machine. I built it to be portable, so it can be hung on the wall or placed on a folding table.

I'll have to do a little bit of work on the limit switches but it is otherwise fully functional and significantly more compact (and more rigid/precise) than the previous machine used by the Makerspace.

If the lab is interested I am happy to bring it in.
