I'd like to be a mentor for the kitchen and the clay space!

I signed up for a few things here as a mentor. I am willing to help anyone I can in the wood shop or fab shop. I am normally there earlier than anyone wants to even open their eyes but I can do other times as well

I think this will really benefit the space even when the Covid restrictions are over. Years ago when I first started coming around the space I had a really hard time finding the right people to talk to when I wanted to learn different tools. This provides an easy way for people to look up a specific tool and find people to help them with it.

I signed up for 3D printing and the CNC router, even though I have a few things to learn on the router first.

Would you want to add one for digital design? I would put myself down there for Fusion360, I'm sure other people would be interested in other software like Corel Draw, Inkscape etc.

I have added a mentorship section to our website here. You must be logged in to see it. This is a place to indicate if you are interested in helping other members in their Makerspace journey. Mentorship is key for both new and existing members. You do not have to be an expert in a subject to pass on your passion.

The categories are broken down by room, From there you can indicate your interests in each space. If you sign up your contact information will be displayed to members looking for mentorship in that area. Please let me know what other interests or categories I should add.

I would like to encourage everyone to pick at least on interest to become a mentor in. With COVID this is a vital way to help new members. The more mentors in each category the better as some may be busy. Don,t hesitate to sign up in someone else already has. Thank you for your consideration.
