The vending machine works again!
Author Last Post

Just a head up that I will be coming in tonight to temporarily shut the machine down. Due to covid it's hard to keep the products fresh as at any time the space might have one or two people inside. Once provincial restrictions on building occupancy are lifted it will be restocked again.

By the way, I have received a few complaints about products jamming in stereotypical fashion. I'm keeping an eye on anything stuck in the machine and hopefully people have found their purchases next time they came into the space waiting for them. We're missing a number of the triangle-shaped pushers on the ends of the coils.

This should keep my Hanger at bay, thanks John!!!

As we all have seen there is a small vending machine for selling small items such as snacks or consumables like pens. Many of us are aware that the machine is EXTREMELY picky about what kind of coins you fed it, so it fell into disuse for a number of years.
This is no longer the case.
As a Christmas present to the space I had the coin acceptor shipped back to the manufacturer for repair and its firmware updated. The machine is now restocked with COVID-compatible snacks (you don't need the kitchen to prepare them) and will accept ANY Canadian coinage you feed it. Right now most items are fifty cents to a dollar and were stocked in the machine at the beginning of the year. We may or may not still have the template buried somewhere to laser etch and cut out new price tags.
For the moment if you need any help with the machine you can reach me as I have the keys. I will try to get a copy made so administration has access as well.
