I have just joined the Makerspace and I am excited for the new opportunities this will provide. I have played with clay a little in the past, but would consider myself a complete novice. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me a more in-depth intro / tutorial to the Pottery Room. I was told that a jar of honey from my hives would do well to assist me in this endeavour. Can't wait to get my hands dirty.

Have you taken a look at the mentors tab? There are 2 clay space areas where people have signed up to be mentors. There should also be some contact info for those folks.

Welcome to the Makerspace! I would usually be on board to give you a tour/orientation to the Clayspace, but am pretty bogged down with school and work at the moment. I wonder if maybe Jyelle could offer some guidance? Sorry that I cannot offer you more at this time
