I have been fighting the Laser Brain for about 30 minutes. I belive it is filled with crap. Does anyone have a problem with me backing up the files and reloading windows?

I am totally in favor of this. Last time I used it I noticed a lot of bloatware was installed and had to manually kill those tasks so I could get anything done.
