Rob Stodola has prepared a "Froggy Mill 101" for those that wish to familiarize themselves with the 3020 engraver / router in the Hackroom. (ICYMI, the machine is Rob's and he has it at the Space on long term loan.)
FROGGY MILL 101 Thursday November 8 7-9 pm At Kamloops Makerspace - 207 Victoria West
A basic introduction to the 3020 router/engraver CNC machine, including basic safety info, file upload instructions, basic machine code generation, acceptable materials, tool setup and instructions on working through the interface. We will be working backwards from the CNC Router, back through each step to get to the machining process. The focus is on the production of machine code and being ready to actually cut. By the end of the workshop, each participant should be ready to bring their own projects and operate the machine.
