Infrastucture

Need for 2 x 4 x (12 or 16 footers?)
Author Last Post

The studs are all moved outside the secured storage. I have measured them and they are all 12 ft or less.

I will be going out of town next Tuesday (Oct 24) for a couple of weeks, these should get moved before I get complaints from other owners, they are not in an official "can store things place".

If these are of any use, can we make headway on this?

If 12 ft is too long for anyone's pickup or trailer, should I cut them down to shorter?

Thanks so much, Don

The wood is stored in secured area with spare project materials, so I set to moving it to an unsecured place we so can access them "after hours" ... I only got half moved in an hour...

There's a lot more than I originally estimated, it looks now like there were 4 dozen 16 footers or longer, some complete with free nails and screws :) There are a number of "fit in SUV" ones also.

Where would pick up be?

Hi Don! I'm pretty sure 2x4s are always useful. Unfortunately I also drive a small SUV, so hopefully someone with a truck chimes in!

Please set them aside for us-

Thanks!

Amanda

Is there a need for 2 x 4's for making shelving at all? Our condo has just finished a large cladding renewal project, and there's about a dozen long 2 x 4's from the crates in which metal sofftiting, etc were delivered.

I can have them put aside. If I were to deliver them it would be on my Rogue's roofracks... a pickup might be a better transporters...

Let me know by return post.
