Hi all!

Here are the notes from the meeting we had August 18th:

The big take away is we will be doing Women's Night every 4th Thursday of the month. We will reassess in December.

Feel free to make any suggestions, comments or questions related to the meeting notes! I will be working on updating the social media/poster and post as soon as I can!

Yes! I mean Thursday the 18th (tomorrow). Thank you for catching that. Say 6pm. That sounds awesome! We can plan out the upcoming Women's Nights and debrief the previous ones. See you then :)

I assume you mean the 18th? I think I have a crafty activity to do. Just sorting out the logistics of materials. I think I can have it ready in time. See you Thursday! 😄

Hi all! I believe I suggested today (August 11th) for a Women's night meeting to plan for starting up again in the Fall. I'm actually still out of town so I would like to post pone it to August 17th, next Thursday. Hopefully that works for most people :) Thanks!

Hi Brianna,

The FB event is correct! It is this Saturday, the 23rd (today). Thank you so much for taking the effort to try and share and reach out to double check! Hopefully I will see you there tonight :)

Good evening,

Just went on Facebook to share this Thursday's Women's Night Event and the Facebook date has it set for this Saturday!!!

Figured I should let someone know so we can hopefully update the event's date...

BIG THANKS to all the Makerspace members who have volunteered their time (behind the scenes and during the event) to make this successful ❤️ This community works because you are AMAZING! Also, a thank you to all the members who have respectfully worked around the Women's night schedule to give us the time and space to explore, learn and create together.

We had an awesome turn out of members and non-members (I think ~20 all together). The space was clean when I went yesterday to prep (big thanks!), the wood shop tools were beautifully organized (another big thanks!!) and there were so many members at the event to interact with new comers by offering tours, opportunities to try stuff out and just showing them what the space is all about (so many big thanks!!!). I saw many happy faces leaving at the end :)

We'll be back July 23rd!

Hello all, just a reminder that we have a Women's Night coming up this week on Thursday June 16th (and July 23rd) from 6-9pm.

There will be tours, opportunities to try different forms of making as well as a Charcuterie Board Workshop in the Woodshop. Space is limited so please message me if you are interested! No experience necessary and Pay What You Can!
