I'll be there and I'll bring the ice

V.O.L.U.T.E.E.R.S!

I have forwarded your contact info and request directly to Bailey.

Put me in touch with her please.

I'm quite surprised that Bailey wasn't aware of this as Nicholas was also right there to hear me say that, and I was in touch with Sue Adams the following day with my offer. It appears that this wasn't in the meeting notes either. Strange.

My apologies Garret.

Your offer to pay for pamphlets had unfortunately slipped my mind. Assigning Bailey with the task of updating and printing new pamphlets was a last minute scramble made last Sunday by me, as Johnathan was unable to get them in on time with his schedule, and Bailey had offered to take on the task. In my rush to get them done last minute I neglected to review last months meeting notes. If your offer is still available, I will see about putting you in contact with Bailey to coordinate payment with her directly.

Thank you

-Kyle Rankin

I had stated in last meeting that I could pay for pamplets, on the record.

I tried to contact Jonathan over this. I was in contact with Sue.

No one had informed me of this change or made a request to me.

It shouldn't be this hard to give money to the space.

Good news! All you lovely vendors CAN PARK IN THE TENNIS COURT PARKING LOT (see map).

This means a few things:

  1. Consider the unload process much better for us. You now have the choice to parkand unload if you think it's closer/easier to your booth. Or you may drop-off in the north lane of the road as previously communicated (you still have to unload and go park! We want the road as open as possible.)
  2. Yes, you guessed it. Uji Way is closed at 9am. Your vehicle will NOT be allowed to leave during the event. For emergencydepartures only, contact me to escort your vehicle out.
  3. You are still only allotted 1 spot per vendor. You must obtain your parking pass at check-in.
  4. I realize some of you have larger vehicles – MAKE SURE THERE IS ROOM FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE VEHICLES.Larger vehicles should park farthest west-bound to allow for emergency services access into the park.
  5. We are still sharing a few spots with other organizers of Canada Day. Please be respectful to directions and rules.
  6. Myself and two volunteers will be checking you in. I’ll be the blonde one in the white, big Canada outfit checking you in!

The forecast is still 29° and shining with a chance of showers in the afternoon.

SEE YOU SOON!

-KAC

Water is in the fridge. Chips are on the table.

Awesome. Bailey has been working on getting a small batch of new ones made up. So we hopefully will have some updated pamphlets as well. But good to know we have the corrected old ones as a backup

We have 300 of the old pamphlets with the membership fee corrected. They are on the table in the lounge. I can bring water.

sorry for not being on the forum to help head this as I should be. Bailey has taken over making pamphlets. We will need the two folding tables from the classroom, the folding table for the operation game. I have a small folding table I will bring if we need it.

if you have a folding chair, bring it. I have a big cooler I can bring but would appreciate if someone else could bring the ice/ water bottles for our volunteers.

So the game plan for Canada day is to have everything at the makerspace by Thursday night. I want people to meet at the makerspace at 7:00 to load up and start setting up at the 7:30 slot. Brad has volunteered his truck. But I will also bring my car if we need it. We are booth 65 right by the parking lot for the tennis courts

I am available to help. Do we know what we need and what we are doing yet.

Do we know how big of a space we have. I have a 10 x20 tent we can use for shade or cover depending on weather.

Do we have enough pamphlets for Canada Day?

I am not sure how many more we need, I will be in tomorrow or Wednesday and put the files in the "Makerspace" folder in the members folder

Do we know if we got a space? How big it is? I have a 10x20 tent we can use.

Dave do we have files to do cut outs? I will be at the space this weekend and can do some out of my scrap materials I have there of what ever you say.

I can come down on Canada day for a while as well

Have we applied for a space?

IMHO this is once again a good opportunity to make contact with new people and to remind people we exist
