Hi Courtenay,
our members meetings are the first monday of the month. I think we are hopefully still hosting on this coming monday the 7th. I believe it will be at 7pm hosted on zoom.

Courtenay! Welcome back!
You have always done such a great job for the space. I think it would be perfect to have you in that role!!
For anyone who doesn't know Courtenay, She was critical in getting the space off the ground in the first place. Her home automation projects are slick! She is a hell of a maker!

Hello!
I've been away from the space for a few years, but am able to get involved again. I know not all of you even know who I am, so I want to introduce myself and express my interest in running for the board.
I work from home for a big corporate company, as a business analyst in software. I have two dogs, a cat, a boyfriend and own a house in Brock.
I first got involved in the maker space back before we had a location, when we were meeting in the basement of the TRU Brown (before it was the Generator) making chain mail!
I have strong organizational skills and an assertive, calm attitude to run meetings. I'm interested in helping with organization-wide communication, and understand there may be an opening for Secretary at the upcoming AGM. I'm interested in learning the new website system (ClubExpress) and seeing where we can automate it to do some work for us.
From a maker perspective, I'm always very interested in home automation. I run Home Assistant on a raspberry Pi that connects all my various WiFi lightbulbs/switches, TV and Google home minis together!
Please ask me any questions or give me any feedback or comments. I really would want to do this to serve the makerspace community, I'm not in it for my own gain. Thanks for reading!
