Pottery Room

Hi fellow potters. I would like to runt the kiln this week as I have some birthday presents in there. At this point it is half full. If anyone would like to add to it that would be great.

I haven’t run it myself yet and am a little nervous about it but I do have my notes from when Amanda ran it last. Any feedback or help would be wonderful.

Hi Linda! I assume you mean a glaze fire?

I unfortunately haven't got any of my of my stuff glazed and ready to go in.

For glaze firing it's very important that no glaze touches or runs on to the kiln shelves, so if you're loading other's work, make sure that the bottoms are wiped. There's cookies for under things your aren't sure of

I'm back into Kamloops on Sunday evening, if your ok to wait until then, otherwise I can see if Jyelle could connect with you on Thursday? Alternatively I should have cell service intermittently today and tomorrow

I can definitely wait until Sunday. That would be a good time for me actually. This way we can fill it with more goodie’s and yes a glaze firing.

please let me know when you are available and then I can meet you there in Sunday hopefully, or at least check up on me as I start it on my own for the first time.
