Dear All:
I've had some TRU students, who are doing a robotics project, ask me about where they can obtain materials.
I thought of quite a collection (it seems to me) of electronics / electro-mechanical parts in Makerspace, some of which (such as servo motors), might be of use.
However, before I say "yes we some things at Makerspace Club (not the TRU one), which you can look over", I thought I'd check as to the bylaws / rules / guidelines and intentions for Makerspace having parts / materials for projects:
- Are the parts / materials for the personal use of the members only?
- Is there any way outside educational groups / teams make use of any which are unlikely to be used in the short term?
- Is there an-written policy of Makerspace not aiding any educational teams in competitions? Or one team rather than all?
