With a new year here, I thought it would be good to offer a few internal re-introductions to parts of our Space. In the Industrial Arts room, we've had a few changes in tools and equipment, and I know I've had a few people ask me about where to get started woodworking.
So, I thought I'd have some dates where members can stop by, get to know the tools on the woodshop, learn about using them safely, and maybe talk about a few ideas for a project they want to work on. We won't be building anything during the orientation, but I'm sure there'll be some scrap we can cut up.
There will be a few dates for this in January, and maybe one per month after that. I will stick around after the next member's meeting in February, so come out to that and then maybe learn about some new tools. Dates will be posted in the event calendar, so please check that periodically. The first one will be this weekend, Saturday afternoon.
