Excellent idea! I would be happy to help out with organizing things and making tiles. I'm not around much until mid June We also have tiles that I saved from the old space that are in the middle of getting underglaze applied so that might be an excellent use for those once I'm done glazing them.

I love this idea! I would be all over this but am expecting a baby in the coming weeks. Hoping someone else can help make this happen.

With the build out of the kitchen I have been thinking of doing a backsplash. I am considering making it a bit of a Makerspace fundraiser. I am looking for a clayspace user to potentially team up with me on this. Here is the pitch:

4 to 6 inch square tiles with slightly rounded edges bisque fired. Members and the general public can sponsor a tile for $10 to $20 each. They then glaze their tile as they wish. When all the tiles are decorated/sold they will get fired and I will install them on the wall.

Funds will go to the materials for the project with the surplus going to the Makerspace General Fund. Please let me know if you are interested in helping with this project.
