Laser Cutter

Hour meter and service log.

The form just creates a row in a google sheet. I think the sheet is owned by the makerspace google account, but anyone can add a row if they have the link to that form.... in retrospect it might not have been a good idea to post that on an open forum. There used to be a QR code that took you to the form to make whatever maintenance notes you wanted to add to the sheet, posted prominently near the machine.

Last time I looked at that meter it was sure up there. I will check next time I am in thae space. I dont recall that form. wo has the back end?

Back in 2017 I installed an hour meter inside the laser cutter that tracks time that the key is turned on. It would have been better to track hours where the laser was firing but we considered the approximation good enough at the time.

Anyway I'm sort of curious about how.many hours have been logged in the last 8 years.

At the time we were using this form to track maintenance: https://forms.gle/DAhtEVFvXVFmyrod6

Mostly in attempt to determine mean time between failure of components.
