Kitchenette and Furnace

The drywall is tapped and mudded. I left sanding pads. If it is sanded lightly it may not need another coat. If it does I left mud and tools there. I also left primer and the blue paint that is on the other wall.

Thank you to everyone who helped out with this project.

The drywall still needs to be taped and mudded. I will drop off the materials today and probably get to it on Wednesday. I am going to see if I have any of the blue paint left and am planning on painting the wall and last two panels of the slot wall with it.

There are plugs behind the microwave and fridge, a counter plug, two in the lounge area and one up on the mezzanine for an overhead plug. There is also two cat 6 drops in the lounge area that go to the rack. They still need to be terminated. I reworked the plumbing including valves in the bathroom to isolate the kitchen sinks.

I am planning on making doors for the cabinets with clear fronts sometime down the road. I will be making additional threads for building out the kitchen and lounge corner.

A huge thank you to the Bearded Plumber. The gas line has been moved, and a new valve has been installed for the furnace on the mezzanine. Grant has also supplied a dedicated circuit there as well. A summer project will be getting everything plumbed in.

The existing electrical on the wall in the conuit is disconcted and ready for removal. From there I would like to install a stud wall for installing cabinets. Does anyone have some devent 2x4s kicking around?

We have a new, smaller kitchenette bench in place, just big enough to fit the fridge and rolling cabinet. Future upgrades might include a detached wall for shelving to store the microve and toaster oven above the countertop.

The old case has been removed and disassembled, all the usuable high quality plywood it was made out of has been saved beside the seacan outsite. PLEASE use the metal detector to check the wood for any brad nails I may have missed before putting it through any of our saws.

I have secured a mini fridge. It is sitting in front of the sinks. I will work on getting the kitchenette put together this week. The furnace will probably happen this week as well, however, I do not have a timeline.

Awesome, thanks Nicholas!

Yeah I think you're right about a kitchenette vs a full kitchen.

Now that the sinks are done I am turning my attention to the kitchenette. The building owners are looking to chance some stuff around and we will be getting a different furnace installe don the mezanine. This will free up space where the existing furnace is. However I dont belive we should make the whole thing into kitchette space. Perhaps a spot for a silk screen and some games/puzzels. What do you think?

I will be building a small countertop and built in spots for a mini fridge and microwave. Does anyone have an extra mini fridge kicking around?
