Hi Grant,

I was in tonight and got up to speed on the plans and rationale.

I know there isn't going to be a vote on everything and don't expect detailed plans before everything, but it would have been good to know there was a discussion I wasn't a part of, and therefore wasn't misremembering. I'll be in to paint again tomorrow evening.

Still on the lookout for doors. And rather astounded at the price of used building supplies lately.

Hi Amanda. I appreciate the offer of a window. We just don't have a plan for it. Nicholas has drawn some plans up and executed them. There have also been in-person discussions about what needs to be done. These were not transcribed into text. We simply don't have the time or energy to bring everyone up to speed at every step. We certainly don't have time to rehash what has already been decided.

The MS has had difficulty with analysis paralysis in the past. In an effort to build the new space quickly we have streamlined the design process. The person doing the work ultimately decides what work they want to do. A floorplan was agreed on. Nicholas is putting in an amazing amount of effort to build out the new space. Some of us have helped with the work.

There is still a great many ways for you to contribute. When the primer coat on the walls dries there is still painting to be done. We could go with beige or maybe an artistic mural. Depends on who shows up to do the work.

No one is asking for a complete rework, but if that information was recorded somewhere other than inside your head other people could help make it happen with far less confusion.

I belive the camera solution was chosen as it would provide a visual of the laser surface. A window would only be usefull to spot a fire after the laser has been destroyed.

If there is a need to completely rework what I have planned I am happy to step aside and let a more capable person take it on.

I was pretty sure we agreed that there was storage potential above and below the window and it was the lowest tech option for visibility into the room

We did not plan for a window as it limits all space we can store somethig on. I think the large tv is goin in that space

It's not doors, but I can pick up a 6x4 window that will work well for the laser room.

Any other items on the wishlist? I recall you mentioned a sink we had available- or should I also keep an eye out for that as well? I'd like to get the kiln up and running and I'm going to turn my attention to that when I'm back in town next week. Let me know if I should try to scare up some tile etc for behind it.

I am working on getting everything together for the build out of the new space. One main thing I am looking for is a set of french doors preferably exterior glass 60X80 however we can be flexible on the size. Ok condition used doors are fine.
