Problem with the laser cutter focus? calibration? alignment of the beam? I do not know the lexicon or how it works well enough to describe. But hopefully, with the photos, and my description it might help point someone in the right direction to help get it in tip top shape once more?
Was etching on 1/8thg inch plywood tonight and the laser stopped burning at the regular intensity. Saw that there a little bit of light diffraction going on the surface of the wood after that as well.
We tested the alignment of the bean entering the head of the laser into the "beam hole." It seems to be entering off centre? See the photos.
Seems like the laser has gotten out of alignment and the beam is no off centre when it hits the lens.
Could someone take a look at it? thank you!
