Cold in the Paint Booth
John Ball

The last few projects I've done in there, paints and epoxies are not setting right or taking forever to do so because its too cold. We only have radiant heat in there but you have to heat up the entire building to get that one room to a more favorable 20 and the sun lights aren't working on some of the more reflective paints.

Would one of those portable oil filled electric radiators be okay? I know we can't use pretty much any other electric heater because its an explosion hazard.

As long as you don't use it when the fumes are bad enough to make your eyes water it should be fine. I don't think we want to buy a gas detector to double check. If the fumes are bad enough even plugging/unplugging is the wrong thing to do.
