Today I picked up and installed a new blade for the big bandsaw. It was long overdue. When I tried to cut on the saw last Sunday it was so dull It was veering off my line and taking a lot of effort to cut. After the new blade it cuts with ease.
Reminder that the makerspace is run on donations. And consumables such as saw blades can only be routinely replaced if people donate, either by new parts directly or by putting money into the donation boxes in each room.
