Oh well, next year.

I'll still go check it out, maybe hand out some pamphlets.

this looks like a decent opportunity. I could probably help get things set up and man the booth. but upon looking up the application form. the deadline was July 30th. so we missed the deadline.

I am also realizing this would've been more appropriate in the Community Events forum, but too late now.

Would anyone be interested in us having a booth at the RIH Auxilliary Craft-A-Fair at the Sandman Centre on Nov 6?

I don't know how busy the event is, but it could be a good opportunity to engage local Makers and generally crafty people.

The booth rates are pretty reasonable, $90-100 based on location, and it's going to a good cause.

Maybe they'd give us a deal as another non-profit, and because we wouldn't be selling anything? Either way I'd happily donate the booth fee.

Nov 6 is my last day off before a work block, so I could help man the booth with a more senior/experienced society member.
