Facebook page editor status
Author Last Post

Got it, I've been added back on by Kyle and was able to create an event.

I think there may have been some confusion. It was never a requirement to regularly post in order to stay an editor. One of our directors was concerned about the large number of editors on our facebook. Many of them no longer involved in the space. They, with board approval reached out to all the editors to see if they were still interested in remaining an editor.

As always we encouraged regularly posting, however no policy was ever discussed or made requiring it.

I'd like to propose a change to the Facebook policies that have been put in place but not officially stated in the policy/guideline documents.

About a year ago I received a message telling me that I would need to agree to regularly reply to messages in the inbox, and it I didn't want to do that I would be removed as a page Editor.

Since I wasn't confident that I would always have the time to respond to the inbox I replied that I wasn't interested in continuing as and Editor under this new policy.

I don't feel that this policy is beneficial to the space. I'd like to create events for workshops that I'm hosting, post about exciting projects or things happening at the space, and in general contribute to creating a sense of vibrancy at the space when I am available to. I think it would be very beneficial for others to do the same. This was the case in the past, and the result was more active social media.

I'll bring this up in the next meeting, although I'm sure this can be discussed before then.
