This is part of my ongoing efforts to photograph my many stitchy projects. I made this skirt years ago, and recently started turning the scraps into a pillowcase.
I used silk ties from thrift stores, 30ish ties in total. I attached them by zigzagging the edges together.
I left the tie linings in so that the ties wouldn't stretch (they are cut on the bias). It makes the skirt a bit bulky- great for cold weather. No pattern used, just made it up as I went along.
